Weta Collectible Doctor Who Statues

Weta Collectibles have now released some collectible statues and helmets based on Doctor Who. The initial series consists of four pieces from different scenes from the hit series. The statues will be made at 6th scale and be free standing. The pieces currently available are a Dalek Statue, a Master and Auton Statue, a The Doctor and Davros Statue and a The Cyber Controller Statue. Pictures of these statues can be seen below. The Doctor’s Daughter Synopsis

The press release for Doctor Who Episode 6 has now been released. This episode is entitled The Doctor’s Daughter and will see The Doctor, Donna and Martha meet up with the most important woman of The Doctor’s life. The synopsis for this episode can be seen below.

  

The Doctor meets the most important woman of his life on the distant planet Messaline, in the middle of an endless war, as Russell T Davies’s BAFTA award-winning time-travelling drama continues.

 

But as General Cobb threatens genocide, and Martha is kidnapped by the Hath, the Doctor faces an even greater battle – can he find peace with his own child?

Doctor Who Top Trumps Game Cover Revealed

The covers for the Doctor Who Top Trumps game have now been released. This game is an interactive version of the Top Trumps series. This game will be released on May 16th 2008 on the PS2, Nintendo DS and PC. The covers for the PS2 and Nintendo DS can be seen below in a image made by myself.





Doctor Who Magazine Features

The cover of this weeks TV & Satellite Week has now been revealed with a Doctor Who related cover. On this cover we see a brand new image of Martha Jones as well as pictures of a Sontaran and The Doctor. In this issue there is an exclusive interview with Freema Agyeman who plays Martha Jones. The cover for the next Radio Times magazine has also now been released which also features a Doctor Who Related Cover. This cover features a Sontaran which will appear in this weeks episode of Doctor Who. The latest Radio Times will be on sale tomorrow and features an exclusive guide to the two-part adventure, The Sontaran Stratagem and The Poison Sky. This issue also features part one of The Resurrection Casket Audio CD, written by Justin Richards and read by David Tennant for free.  Special Thanks to Whovian Net for this information and the covers. The Sontaran Stratagem Preview

The fourth episode of Doctor Who Series 4 sees The Doctor And Donna travel to back to Planet Earth and to the secret organisation, Unit. Here they meet the Martha Jones (last seen in Torchwood Series 2 and as The Doctor’s companion in Doctor Who Series 3) as well as an old enemy of The Doctors, The Sontarans. Martha Jones summons the Doctor back to modern-day Earth, but an old enemy lies in wait, as Russell T Davies’s Bafta Award-winning time-travelling drama continues.
With the mysterious ATMOS devices spreading across the world, Donna discovers that even her own family is not safe from the alien threat – but is it too late to save them?

 

A next time trailer was also shown after the episode Planet Of The Ood in which we saw more clips from this episode. In this trailer we see clips off the Sontarans in action as well as clips off The Doctor, Donna and Martha. This next time trailer can be seen below.

The Circle Must Be Broken Tonight

Tonight sees the third episode of Doctor Who Series 4 air for the first time. This episode is entitled Planet Of The Ood and sees The Doctor and Donna travel to The Planet Of The Ood where The Doctor meets up with the Ood once more, but the time travellers must be aware of the Red Eye. Planet Of The Ood will be shown tonight at 6.20pm on BBC 1. The third episode of Doctor Who Confidential Series 4 is also shown tonight at 7.05pm on BBC Three.
